In June and July 2016, I directed excavations at two sites. Alli Pelto, Heather Hardy, Brooks Lawler, Kate Mulliken, John Blong (above), and Whitney McLaren provided feedback, dutifully recorded, and uncovered almost 5000 artifacts at both sites. New radiocarbon dates suggest that both sites were occupied and used as hunting camps between 2000-1500 years ago. I will continue excavations at both sites in summer 2017.
