Dr. Henry Wright invited me to assist him on surveys and test excavations in Central and Northern Madagascar for three weeks. We recovered countless pot sherds from surveys of agricultural fields surrounding Antananarivo, Madagascar's capital. With these sherds, Dr. Wright was able to establish the occupation dates of many previously unexplored regions in the valley.
